In addition to being one of the greatest composers of Brazilian popular music and one of the founders of Bossa Nova, Vinicius de Moraes was also a poet, playwright, writer and diplomat. His song, “Garota de Ipanema”, composed in partnership with Tom Jobim, gained international adaptations, becoming an MPB anthem.
